North europe is in a weird phase that is a mixture of the phases 2 and 4. Basicly, no one gives a damn about what the bible says but still we have state churches. *shrugs* The ironic thing is, that this actually seems to be making the society more secular: since the state has the church in a leash, they(the church) are pretty much spreading secular humanism and are only calling it christianity. Almost half of our priests are either agnostics or atheists who picked the job of a clergyman(or -woman) merely to get to help people with their problems.
